Calling a violent mob intent on doing physical harm to people and property is pretty ridiculous. How did this become a thing?
I suppose now we can start referring to a rabid dog frothing at the mouth as, " a cute puppy-dog with fluffies on its face that just wants to love nibble you." Serial rapists can now be referred to as "sexually aggressive law abiding citizens." There is literally no end to the ways you can misuse words to make bad people sound acceptable.
Protests cease to be protests when they engage in violent or destructive behavior. Please need to stop calling mobs and riots "protests." Also, celebrating something bad happening to another human being bring into serious question whether you yourself are a decent human being.
Calling the Proud Boys a "racist group" over and over and over again until people start to believe it automatically without evidence -- that is probably the oldest propagandist trick in the book. Hitler and Goebbels loved using it to demonize the Jews. But can you prove this claim is factual? I can find racist Democrats, racist Socialists, racist Environmentalists, etc. but this does not make all of them racist groups ... does it?

How does Uber, taxi, etc, know they are Proud Boys when they get service? I use these services and at no time does any of them know my political views, or the reason for my travel.
They only got tagged with being racist once their popularity of supporting Trump grew, just as Trump's various bigot labels only happened after he became a serious contender for president, but not at all the past few decades before that, even Hillary liked him.
