SS makes a nice statement and, true to form, the usual crowd show their lack of class.

No, only 13 year olds, Donald Trump and his supporters do things like that.

Sorry, nothing to see here.

In what way? I'm new here. Is he a morally corrupt? Poor jurist? Black Conservative off the farm?

Worth noting that Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Antonin Scalia were quite close despite being opposites in law interpretation. They and their spouses regularly vacationed together for many years. Scalia called RBG his "best buddy".

Exactly. Just what I'd expect Supreme Court Justices to do. I wish it would trickle down to 1600 Pennsylvania and Congress.

Now that he is among some superiors maybe he will take a hint.

There is a long tradition of SCOTUS judges becoming vastly more liberal over the years, and much less of the opposite. Scalia and Thomas are not by any means the norm.

Despite our platitudes many of the defining moments of our times are 5-4.

Appointment of the POTUS by the SCOTUS.
Citizens United (which even most of the right hates....at least the people do).
Declaration that Voting Right Suppression and Racism no longer exists.

and many other similar cases.

Just because they get along and wear robes doesn't mean the effect changes.

Great judges aren't sheep.
Kavanaugh won't be a sheep.
Also, Kavanaugh owes Trump more than one man has ever owed another, for the tremendous support, so I'm sure he won't become a liberal.
