If you grew up in Mali as a circumcised girl, you wouldn't hear any complaints. The only people who would be complaining ("on your behalf") would be outsider europeans telling you it was wrong.
Meanwhile, you'd be pushing for your daughters to be circumcised.
well, The practice of FGM causes the whole community to view women’s external genitalia as a potential danger that, if not eliminated, has the power to negatively affect women who have not undergone FGM, their families, and their communities.
Only be making “uncut” women the norm can such social prejudices be overcome.
Can you deny that?
Earlier you said both Female Genital Mutilation and male circumcision are bad, now you are saying females who went through the procedures do not complain. So what exactly is your point or argument?
That is a fantastic debate strategy. Congratulations.
There is no use to debate someone who doesn't even know anything about the issue. Either you listen, or my responses to you will be brief and mostly to poke fun at your lack of any knowledge.

well, you have not made ONE valid argument in this thread. Your posts are all over the places and they are not even "funny."
Bottom line, Human Rights declarations and treaties which draw upon local cultural and religious notions of common sense, justice and dignity, are often the best way to promote human rights and change the cultural norms that violate them.

Bottom line, don't waste your time on this issue. You don't know anything about it, and in the USA it barely occurs.
What you should be worrying about is MGM which is far more prevalent, and as can be seen in this thread, there are plenty of barbaric people supporting it. But even here, I digress, just don't mutilate your son when (if) you have one.

Off topic and personal attack.
Again, learn a better debate strategy if you want to be taken seriously.
Depends on the facility you have it done, and the pre and post visits I included, not including any complications. Regardless, it's extra $. It doesn't matter if it's 500, or 2500. You missed the point.
I believe we are talking about neonatal circumcision. Anyone paying $2500 for that has been scammed. It is usually done in the hospital soon after delivery. No pre and post visit charges.
So what do you say when a woman who was circumcised enjoys sex, has lots of sex (fertility of women in these areas are higher than in the west), and pushes for her daughter to get circumcised? Because that's reality.
You think American western men are the only one's who "like" that they were circumcised? Are you really that naive?
That bolded portion makes your opinion on the issue unreliable.
And all the women circumcised in that village in Africa would say the same.
Except that they don't--which is the reason it's even an issue. It's from those women who have actually been forced to undergo the procedure that it surfaced as a cause in the first place.
