Comey said he wants to testify in public, not behind closed doors as is planned now. Is that so he could answer every question "That's classified" while getting his face on TV after a long absence? Am I correct in assuming anything classified could be said in a closed door hearing?
He said he was afraid of leaks. Hmmm, leaks that would show him to be guilty? A leaker who is afraid of leaks!
He's a liar. He wants to testify in public so he can claim the info is classified. He isn't fooling anyone. I was under the impression that subpoena invitations were not voluntary.

Didn't Eric Holder ignore a subpoena a while back? I know he was held in contempt of Congress at one point.

Your post only shows your own bias. Comey was widely known - before Trump orchestrated this smear campaign - as a man of great integrity. Indeed, you conveniently forget that Trump turned on Comey after finding that he couldn't corrupt Comey.
I'm assuming that you're smart enough to know that Comey is wary of the "fake" leaks, like when Trump implied he had tapes of the meeting. Comey's right to want to let the public hear it all, and shows his honesty - unlike, say, Trump, who is so frightened that he won't even face Mueller in private.
The last gasp of the pathetic House GOP.
It's just grandstanding with no "gotcha" or new revelations to be had from Comey & Lynch testifying again.
Thank god they are distracting themselves with this in their dying days.

He has already appeared in closed door hearings is there anything new. Last time he appeared the republicans claimed he lied, if that was true why didn't they take action. How many hearings is enough, this is just a complete waste of time, they waited until December for this, does that appear strange to anyone.
He stated he would appear in public but the republicans don't want to be embarrassed on national TV again.

It's another Benghazi BS string of stupid hearings. He wants to go public, so be it. The GOP is afraid to have a hearing in the light of day.
The GOP is mindless and has a damn screw loose, frankly.
As long as you are of a certain political elite class (Comey, Lynch, etc.) you can do whatever you want without any real consequences.
