So where is the NRA? Where is Dana Loesch to speak out and defend Bradford? Does not the NRA promote CCW carriers and "good guys with guns?"
According to the NRA, theres no good guy with a gun when the cops shoot them.
Also, They only back up the good guy with a gun when he lives to kill another guy with a gun.
If he gets shot, there isnt even a peep out of them that the shooter shouldnt have had the gun.
No need to look for anything from the NRA, they arent in the business of saving lives.
So how does the gun-lobbyist argument about having many "good guys with guns" out there, fit in with the results of this incident? This pretty much shoots that down, doesn't it?
Uh, no. It indicts the cops. I.e., the people who, according to hard Lefties like you:
(a) routinely shoot black people without cause, and
(b) should be the only people allowed to have guns.
No charges filed against the police officers. Sadly, this was just a horrible tragedy. I've seen the footage of the shooting and it just looks like a horrible, yet honest, accident. Although the city will pay out millions to his family, I do agree that officers should not be charged.
However, my beef is with the NRA. the man shot and killed by police was an U.S. Army soldier. He had a CCW permit and was legally carrying a pistol. He was running towards the gunfire to try to save lives.
Emantic Bradford was a "good guy with a gun."

In this case, it was a chaotic scene with shots fired and people running all over the place. The the young man who is dead is running into a crowd with a gun. No cop is going to politely stop and ask for his conceal permit in that situation. The whole CCW argument is ridiculous in this situation.

You most certainly can demand that someone stop before you start firing away. What this person was doing is EXACTLY what the NRA fights for the right of people to do and no, they will not step in to defend this man.
I once did support the NRA. I still support your second amendment right fully but that is no longer what the NRA is about.
