Our entire political system needs an overhaul. It doesn't matter if it's Trump, Obama, Bush, or Clinton in the White House. DC is a friggin' mess and has been for decades.

Look at the average net worth of some of the most well-known Reps & Senators. The average salary for US Congressmen & women is $174K....yet many of them have net worths in the millions and some tens of millions. They've been bought out by special interest groups lining their pockets.

Republican or democrat, most of them are in it for themselves. Trump is no different.
After get even richer as they become lobbyists for the same people/ corporations they wrote legislation for

Call him what you will. He would have the entire nation sobbing if elected President. We don't need another weak and pathetic status quo canned politician playing on the emotions of voters. He'll say anything to get elected and stab people front and back after elected.

"There are not enough people who are helping those who have no one celebrate their victories," Kasich said. "We don't have enough people who sit down and cry with that young man."

We will call him a Republican - which is what he is. Unless he's one of the Republicans that have left the party; perhaps he is.

He is talking about running as a third party candidate though.

Harris lost her meal ticket when Obama vacated the White House and Clinton was beaten by Trump. Harris's desperate, feeble attempts to stay relevant have been pathetic. The latest being when she berated the director of ICE for not agreeing with her that comparison of ICE to the KKK. This person does not represent the people. She represents her own agenda and uses the people that elected her as stepping stones to further her career.

Lets see if Spartacus is willing to give up his seat to keep her on the committee. Another grandstander want-a-be President. Not likely !!!

Demo-rats struggling in the gutter for crumbs and trying to be relevant.

Kasich was pretty far right, but that was a long time ago. Now he is arguably more of a mainstream Democrat. That is why he did so poorly in the 2016 primaries despite having a good resume (arguably the best of any of the 17 GOP entrants). And that is how he won with (IIRC) 68% running for Ohio governor.

He argued that Matthew 25 justified government welfare programs, something that is anathema to any died-in-the-wool conservative. They would argue that Matthew 25 is a reference to voluntary charity, which is entirely different from gov't welfare programs.
