I just heard about this group:

Republicans for the Rule of Law

Whitaker MUST recuse himself
Firing Robert Mueller would gravely damage the Presidency, the GOP and the country.

I think there are still some Republicans, but it appears their dilemma is that they have no home. The former GOP is fully the party of Trump, now. So where do they go? Where do the Republicans who believe in democracy and decency go, because the Party of Trump is corrupt, indecent and immoral?

How refreshing!

I have to say, though... the GOP is permanently damaged. These sane repubs need to start a new group.

Be generous and let a few move in to the OP's home. Don't try and stop her what ever you do.

Let her be the solution and not a problem. They need a home !!!

I think the GOP may well be damaged long-term, but I somehow hold out hope that sanity may prevail. After all, Republicans did finally oust Nixon.

If they don't want to go over to the Democrat side then they form a new political party or two or three.

There's no law that says USA must be bi-partisan. Four or five strong political parties would be better for a nation with such a large population anyway.

We seem to be seeing a new and frightening political divide. Instead of splitting along ideological lines around defense policy, international trade, access to healthcare, and individual liberties, we're dividing into a party that respects the law and civility, that values knowledge and that embraces a thoughtful policy debate, and one that celebrates ignorance, corruption, lack of civility, and policy-making via thoughtless reactionary dictatorial fiat.

Bannon has said there should be a coalition of left wing populist party and a right wing populist party that would form a coalition like they did in Italy. Populism will defeat globalism.
