I saw this posted on another forum I frequent. I had been looking for a concise summary of this whole fiasco and this one is pretty informative, to me anyway. Dan Bongino is a former secret service agent on the Bush and Obama presidential details among other things.

I know. The one thing I get just absolutely sick to death of seeing in discussions is people waltzing in, posting an ad hominem attack and then strut out like they’ve actually accomplished something. It doesn’t matter who the person is, whether we like them or not, it matters whether what they’re saying is factually correct. All it takes is showing evidence that they person is wrong but that takes too much effort so it’s usually just an attack on the person instead.
