Seems like a strange thing for the CDC to claim...essentially they are saying the US war on drugs is a complete failure...since we have THIS many people still dying from the problem.
Nobody wants to touch the fact that SO many drugs enter the US on a consistent basis, year after year, so, until that is addressed, it wont stop.
I am a Republican but I'm against their stand on expanded Medicaid. Who does expanded Medicaid go to? Mostly lower income childless men...a demographic that often votes Republican...at least the white men. Yet Republicans won't dare make cuts in regular Medicaid. Who gets regular Medicaid?...mostly single mothers, a group that overwhelmingly votes Democrat. The Republicans are biting the hand that feeds them and rewarding a group who hates them.
Actually, the majority of Medicaid recipients are children.
I have no interest in defending lazy people, but I seriously despise the people who work 80-100 hours a week. They are idiots. And what are they working for anyway? Stupid consumerist crap.
Most people just want to live, they don't want to be human mules for capitalists, so they can buy overpriced gadgets and toys. And they really don't want to be chided by obnoxious human livestock for not "doing enough".
Now see I am not talking about workaholics doing maximum OT vs normal guys. I am talking about the disability commando, the free loaders the manipulators. The people who scream not fair because they dont promote as fast as the people who apply themselves.
I despise those scumbags. I despise the system that has different expectations and accountability for motivated people versus the slackers.
But I suppose many of their mothers could lean left politically, so let's cut those kids off now, since they might grow up to be Democrats, right?
Your posts show a consistent lack of humanity. And you seem proud of it. Which is sad.
Lets cut them off and teach the adults to be responsible and take care of their kids. Single parenthood, because of the welfare state, causes many of our problems.
Cool, let's legalize all drugs and see how low we can get the expectancy down to shall we?
