An Ohio radio station banned the "date-rape" Christmas song - Baby It's Cold Outside
It can be read that way... a masher convincing a girl to stay the night, instead of going home to her worrying parents, and to have another drink, and she asks "say, what's in this drink?"
.. and the guy pressing for action with a guilt trip of "What's the sense in hurting my pride?" and "How can you do this thing to me?"
But of course I'm sure there are way worse songs out there about "conquest"... but Christmas songs?
Another year, another "Baby it's cold outside" debate about how rapey and meetoo-ish it is.
My only conclusion is that there must be a lot more miserable people out there than there used to be (likely mostly women but who's counting) who have nobody even halfway tempted to roofie them, and this really torques them off. Lets be honest, if everybody was happily getting laid nobody would care at all about this song.

Baby, It's Cold Outside is a very old song, and has been recorded multiple times. I've heard at least 3 different couples singing this song this year, and the lyrics are innocuous. It's a very lighthearted, fun song. And the "what's in this drink?" comment by the woman is accompanied by a laugh. In every version, you can almost see the couple smiling throughout the give-and-take song.
Happily, saner minds have prevailed, and this still remains a very popular holiday song. Too bad Cleveland's 102.9 is catering to the men-hating, fringe element of the metoo movement. Oh, and no wonder they're saying that the poll results for whether to play this song are "unavailable."

It's their radio station. They can choose not to play it and we can choose not to listen to the station. I like the Willie Nelson/Norah Jones version myself.
