TRANSLATION: They can't prove it either. Even after 50+ years of trying, No one has been able to prove it. And we don't dare speculate on how likely it is that the whole premise is false. There would go our entire Government research budget. So... HEY! WE BELIEVE! AND THAT'S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW! And we also won't talk about how many scientists DON'T believe it.

What a bunch of fools.
YOU ARE WRONG.

It's only been 4.3 billion years.

Here's science:

Our pollen-based climatic reconstruction suggests a mean temperature of the warmest month (MTWA) range of 9–14.5 °C during the warmest interval of the last interglacial. The reconstruction from plant macrofossils, representing more local environments, reached MTWA values above 12.5 °C in contrast to today's 2.8 °C.

https://people.ucsc.edu/~acr/migrate...0al%202008.pdf

9°C - 14.5°C is 16.2°F - 26.1°F

12.5°C is 22.5°F

The reason temperatures were that high is because the average global temperature was 15.3°F higher than the present 58.4°F.

58.4°F + 15.3°F = 73.7°F

Seven of the last eight Inter-Glacial Periods were 7.8°F to 15.3°F warmer than present.

If you can guarantee 100% that Earth won't naturally warm another 7.8°F to 15.3°F then do it.

Intelligent people who aren't blinded by a small group of "scientists" whose sole purpose in life is to prove man-made global warming want to know why this Inter-Glacial Period is colder than all the others.

What does "Pledged to Fight Climate Change" even mean?

It's a platitude.

Thank goodness we have a President who doesn't play around with that nonsense.

Global warming is only about CO2 emissions....global warming does not care how much money a country makes..or it's population...only how much CO2 that country puts in the air

China has increased their emissions so much, it no longer matters what we do.....just 12 years ago, China had the same emissions as the USA...in just 12 years, China now emits twice as much CO2 as the USA

...and if anyone is stupid enough to believe...with all the corruption in China...that China could come even close to estimating what their real CO2 emissions are

No other country has reduced their CO2 emissions as much as the USA...that's a fact

USA emissions are back to 1991 levels....CO2 was ~350 in 1991....left up to the USA CO2 levels would be back at 1991 levels.....a drop of 50ppm....back to 350ppm

It's no longer a USA problem....the USA has done more than any other country...signing some stupid agreement.....when it's all the other countries that have done nothing

Pay them for what?? More fun filled vacations to discuss what they are going to do?

The only thing they agree is the vast majority of countries are "developing" and they get paid to increase their CO2 emissions

They don't even believe this crap...if they did, they would actually do something about it

Well there is a good reason why the US was able to reduce green house gas emissions considerably, we have been the number one abuser for a century so I would hope we could improve.
So the one atmosphere we have is not a problem for the wealthiest country in the world, that's very reassuring. We could have easily done some improvements that Trump has rolled back, but here we are attempting to rationalize funding for failing coal power plants. I guess we have to just get used to sea level rise and increased temperatures, its no longer our problem.

Couldn't rep you again, but thank you for posting that chart. Wow (in a bad way). The EU - that bastion of self-congratulating progressives, increased their emissions and is only better than Turkey, India and China. That's shameful.

Until the other countries stop pretending, I'm glad the US isn't playing along. And, as many others here have said, we don't have to be part of some agreement to make changes.

Indeed.

The riots in France speak for themselves. Merkel is already out, Macron is on his way out, Teresa May may not survive the rest of the year, and the rest, who cares?

I'm glad that Trump doesn't kowtow down to the globalist "group think" like the hapless community agitator who never wasted a moment to apologise for America.

And the rest? It's more Orange Man Bad caused by the MSM simply setting off the permanently outraged.
