10 m0f 20 world leaders. Hmmm. That isn't saying much. If it was anything like the deal Obama tried to commit us to I dont blame the orange one from holding out.

I appreciate that he isn't caving into pressure.

Exactly. He is pleasing the people who voted for him instead of appeasing those who hate his guts.

It's kind of hard to figure out where you stand. In another thread, you said people should support candidates like Bernie Sanders, yet you cheer for this mess?

What's up with that?

I am liberal on some issues, conservative on others and Libertarian on others. A true independent who can't be categorized. I voted for Trump but might have voted for Bernie if he was the Dem nomine. I like populists not establishment neocons/neolibs.

When I took the political compass test it put me in the exact center. I guess that's where I land when you average it all out yet in reality I can't stand centrists.

15,000 years ago -- which is a blink of an eye in geological terms -- about half of North America was under a sheet of ice several miles thick, the ocean levels where 400 feet lower than they are now, and mankind damn near went extinct. It's hard to say which is more awkward: that 19 out of 20 world leaders claim they have the power to measurably alter geological forces of that magnitude, or that so many people are eager to accede to such a transparent power grab.

You have a point, and it's a good one. Climate change happens. Some is man-made, some will happen anyway. This is one reason I wish environmentalists would focus a bit more on one thing I believe we can all agree on: clean air and water are good, toxic air and water are not. The fact that we may not be able to control the climate is no excuse to poison the planet.
