Makes sense. Despite what they will openly admit, they know EXACTLY what and who Trump is, and they know exactly WHY they elected him. The thought of having someone on the other side who is also not inhibited by truth, facts, ethics, morals, or human decency has got to be terrifying to them. I'm not saying that is (or is not) what she is, I'm just saying they voted for those values to get THEIR agenda done, not to get the left's agenda done.
They know how effective one can be when not restrained by decent human values, and they believe. So yeah, they are likely scared.
As someone who is directly involved in the current audit and has read the "real" report, the glaring headlines we see are a bit of a misnomer to the average person. It's not as if trillions of dollars disappeared, weren't used, were stolen, etc., but the audit found that within all the hundreds of separate accounting systems, some dating back as far as 40 years, the transactions in many cases did not hit the general ledger accounts correctly. In older systems, general ledger accounts weren't tracked at all. In today's accounting environment, that's a huge deal. Not so much in the 1990s and before. On top of that, the DoD has not had good systems to track inventory so in some cases, there were buildings owned by the DoD that aren't in any records of inventory, and there's buildings that are no longer that are still in some inventory. This doesn't mean people are corrupt. It means that the DoD has never, ever been set up with a good accounting system. It's a lot of money and it's many different agencies, all with different systems. It's a nightmare.
For her to send out a tweet like this is misleading at best and sensationalistic. But honestly, it's is also just the sort of thing Trump would do which is often music to his followers' ears so not sure why anyone who is aligned with Trump would have a problem AT ALL with this tweet. In fact, I'm shocked Trump has not tweeted it.
She's too much of a starry-eyed Millennial with a college-kid-like view of the world. It's easy to want free everything for all and high taxes, but reality is more complicated than that.
Her understanding of defense strategy and how that relates to foreign policy is also embarrassingly poor.
