Millenials aren't all liberal braindroppings. Not by a long shot. And once the dopey millennials figure out who the real winners are, they are going to be mimicking their behavior and traits in an effort to emulate their success. That may be why people tend to become more conservative as they age.
Agree completely. My wife and I have made friends with many in our neighborhood. Along with discussions about marijuana legalization, we have discussed the desire of liberals regarding open borders. Many of them are very much NOT okay with this issue. They seem to care about people who are here legally, particularly African Americans and Hispanics who have done the right thing and worked hard to get where they have gotten to. There are many other issues up for debate, but I believe common sense will prevail.
Don't fear millennials. We're completely incompetent. and unfortunately you can still vote.
Speaking of them voting, Republicans in highly red Oklahoma better fear how millennials in college are starting out voting. In the college town of Stillwater, the precincts largely consisting of college students always voted in favor of Democrat candidates on Nov. 6 by as much as over 70%. For example, this county map shows how poorly it went for the incumbent Republican candidate for district 3 Congress in those precincts as shown in blue. But elsewhere in the county and entire district, the incumbent Republican easily won. Maybe Republicans can take hope in the saying, "If a person is not a liberal when he is twenty, he has no heart; if he is not a conservative when he is forty, he has no head."

This is nothing new. College towns and their vicinity's are often blue thanks to indoctrination of students and the professors who live there.
There's a lot of angst that liberal millennials will usher in a socialist USA. As a millennial I can say, having grown up with this group and knowing how we operate, there's not much to fear.
Millennials are incompetent and will squander any numerical advantage we have with petty infighting and a failure to show up. I doubt many of us will become conservative as we age, because many of us have material wants that far outstrip our earning potential so we'll always be jealous. But that won't matter because so many of us won't vote and we'll be easily distracted by consumerism and social media.
It's not ideal, but it's not catastrophic either.
The upshot is that if you are an American citizen millennial with a modicum of drive and competence there will so much wealth and infrastructure to inherit and manage there will be a labor shortage for your entire life.
LOL...well I mostly agree but keep in mind the world is a dynamic place and there are young in other countries that aren't so apathetic and will show up. But yeah, you will inherit ton of wealth....planning to leave each of my kids at least $1M.
