I had to take my personal leave days when my loved ones passed. I did not get a paid "holiday".
You’re loved ones were not the leaders of our country.

Presidents are murders and war criminals. They are deserving of scorn, not reverence.

Capitalist entrepreneurs built this country. The "My Pillow" guy has done more for this country than all Presidents put together.

Sounds like you need to pick a different country to live in. That's personal, not fact.

We aren’t talking about a holiday every year.

Why should I have to find somewhere else to live? How is my dislike of politicians and government in any way a threat to your liberty? How does my desire to be left alone threaten you?

Your statement is a personal problem, not fact. The President of the United States is a special and unique leadership position in this country.

This would be considered an annual holiday. Federal holidays are not temporary.

Free people don't need leaders.

The POTUS deserves no more reverence--or mourning upon death--than your neighbor down the street.

There would never be a holiday every year for each president who have died. We are talking about one day to show respect
