Perhaps.
Their lack of participation was pretty glaring.

That was odd. Why was it necessary to utilize a multi-vehicle caravan to essentially cross the street?
That and his handing his coat to a decorated officer in the church as if he was a coat-check person.

Oh, well. We know his decision-making processes leave a lot to be desired.

Who rolled with it and did what needed to be done. I was impressed by that.

I know this makes some people very upset.
1. Trump played no role in the politicization of the McCain funeral, aside from the fact of his very existence. Others made it political including McCains' daughter.

2. The Bush and Trump families HAVE been gracious. But I've been listening to glowing words about Bush 41 that were being used as a foil against Trump by talking heads on TV, ever since the former president died.

To say positive things about a dead former president and use those things as a deliberate opening to denigrate a current sitting president is disgusting.

it is disgusting how trump continually fails to measure up.

Trumpists are far closer to the mindset of Westboro Baptist Church than any liberal.

The only good Republican is a dead Republican in the minds of liberals. They only wax poetic about the virtues of Republican politicians when the politician is dead and they can use the opportunity to smear a living Republican. The same thing happened with McCain, who the left smeared as a racist.

Liberals are purely political animals. Their methods and tactics are transparent, revolting, and grotesque. They can't even let an ex-President have a dignified funeral because they see an opportunity to claw their way back to power by using it to attack their present political opponents.
And yet... HW didn't take to the airwaves, disrespect reporters, try to run private businesses into the ground via his own comments, etc. And, if Twitter had existed back then, he still would not have. Obama didn't do it to his detractors and Bush Jr didn't, either.

Face it, Trump's not a statesman or in the same class as any of these men, be they Republican or Democrat.

He lacks the decorum of past presidents.

Oh BS. Who supports all those angry mobs that chant 3rd grade chants in front of businesses and people's homes? What party do they belong to and what do you think they identify as?

We know you don't like Trump because he responds to the left's personal smears and attacks. You'd much prefer that Republicans just shut up and take it when they are falsely smeared as racists, bigots, xenophobes, out-of-touch, etc.

The Bushes didn't fight back and Trump does. That's the difference. I for one am glad Trump doesn't display "decorum" by just accepting the lies propagated by the left about him and about conservatives.

If the left truly wants decorum, they can try displaying some for a change.
