I think that most Democrats know that Mueller has had an impeccable reputation, and Trump, by contrast, has a reputation sleazier that any president in history. Mueller won't care, of course, about Trump's penchant for ill-treatment of women, spewing vulgarity, endlessly lying, or displaying his staggering influence. But Mueller will care if Trump's history of greed and obsession with triumphing over others has lead him into illegal actions, and, given what we know of Trump, this seems likely.

So, assuming that there was major Russian influence, even if not quite collusions, and assuming that Trump turns out to be as bad, or worse, than we feared, what would you prefer happen with him? And you may choose according to your personal preference for justice or your idea of what would be best for the country.

Im torn by this question to be honest. The situation reminds me of Nixon. And a part of me wants to say for the good of the country....pardon him if he resigns ala Nixon.

But another part feels that Nixon sent the wrong message. And that anyone running for office needs to behave in a legal fashion.

In the end.....It depends on what the crimes are. And the details.

My first choice would be that he would resign, to save the country from a long, drawn out impeachment drama and all of the fighting that would go along with that.

The radicalized commie leftists want to see America turn into a third world country with their open border policies. The progressives are out to destroy America as we know it. Liberalism is a mental disorder.

I'll go with a photo of both of them in the hot tub, in a warm embrace, with Trump presenting Mueller with a check for his long commitment of service of others.

I think he should remain president until 2020 when he is roundly defeated by a conservative republican in the primaries. The republicans roundly rejecting him would go a long way to restoring Reps credibility. In the meantime, he should be totally hamstrung and all his power curtailed.
There is no money for his projects, there are no votes for his agenda and there is no support from republicans. He should be a pariah on parade for the next two years. All his hidden, illegal acts and lies should be exposed to the American people through constant subpoenas and criminal charges similar to what H. Clinton was put through.
He should have to remain in the spotlight for two years while he is powerless, humiliated and exposed for what he truly is and most importantly, who he isn't and never was.
He should know that when his term is up and the new president is sworn in there will be men and women waiting to place him under arrest for high crimes and treason.
Until then, he should squirm in his own poison under the public spotlight, Ineffectual and completely hamstrung by a political and constitutional straight jacket.

Can we select multiple options?

Lock him up and reverse everything he's done. With all the evidence that camp out so far, Trump is clearly illegitimate and unfit to be POTUS.

Make Hillary Clinton President or have another election. And heck NO to Pence!

Not sure, it depends on the timing. If the House doesn't get around to any type of impeachment action until late next year or sometime in 2020, presuming it does get that far, might as well wait until the election.

No, he needs to go! He can still sign EO's and still has the Senate who will continue to let his nominations and conservatives judges go through.

He's a disgrace to our country and his minions are doing great damage to the EPA, Justice Dept, Education, etc. As long as he's still in office, they can still wreck havoc for another 2 years!
