Class. Tells.

I felt sorrier for Jimmy Carter and his wife--at the end of the row and totally ignored by Clintons...

LOL! No.... they would at the very least greet him in a friendly, smiling manner. I've seen this happen under other presidents. Let's not pretend he's the equivalent of the principal walking into the restroom while the other kids are sneaking a cigarette.

None of them like him. It's obvious. He does not like them, either.

All the crap he said about Bush Sr was to appease Republicans and he probably hated saying it since they all either skipped his inauguration or came right out and said they didn't like him.

OK, that made me snort out loud.

I voted for Bush Sr and Bush Jr. I get to praise them or not all I want now.

You lost. Get over it.
Remind me to pull this nugget out next time someone complains about not getting to fly Confederate flags or have Confederate monuments at the courthouse.

I voted HW twice. I never once voted for Bill Clinton, but grew to appreciate some of his better qualities. I voted for Dubya once. I wanted Cheney gone and Kerry was the only way to make that happen. I never disliked Dubya, not really. I think he's actually a nice guy. Just wasn't up to the task of President during a major crisis.

I eventually realized that they had seated presidents in order of seniority/recency. But to all appearances, it looked as though Trump was on the end because everyone else refused to sit next to him.

I assume you all saw Trump staring ahead, stone-faced. Others sang the hymns and joined in the responsive readings. He didn't. The appearance was as if he was forced to be there by his staff, but he was determined to pout and remain indifferent.

I'm guessing that he never before had to sit through something so long, absolutely silent, with nothing at all about him.
Wow, picking apart seating arrangements at a funeral. I think your mind works overtime to find an issue with anything and everything..
