In NC, Mark Harris, the Republican candidate for the House, paid Red Dome Group a half a million to orchestrate a scheme to tamper with absentee ballots in his favor.
In Texas and Florida, voters complain that electronic voting machines weren't recording their votes correctly. "The errors — which experts have blamed on outdated software and old machines — would appear to work to the advantage of Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz over Democratic challenger Beto O'Rourke, and that of Georgia GOP gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp over Democrat Stacey Abrams."
In Florida, Ross Spano, the Republican candidate for the House, "admitted in a letter to the Federal Elections Commission that he financed his congressional run with personal loans, a clear violation of campaign finance regulations."
In Georgia, Brian Kemp, then Secretary of State and now slated to be Republican Governor, improperly purged more than 340,000 voters from the state’s registration rolls, and "blocked the registrations of 50,000 would-be voters, 80% of them black, Latino or Asian, because of minor discrepancies in the spelling or spacing of their name." Also, an unusual number of absentee ballots were rejected.
I'm with you on this one, but we start with a voter ID card. Once we are sure that only people who are supposed to be voting, are actually voting, no illegals, no dead people.....now we can take the next step and clean up the system, use the available technology, and get it right. It's ridiculous that we still don't have a uniform nation wide system to count the votes.
Not sure why you think voter I.D. cards are going to stop election fraud. Even high school students can get fake I.D.s for a reasonable amount.
Groups that harvest absentee ballots can probably get a discount buying in bulk.
Really? You put a thread on here about cleaning up elections, and then you start by saying that voter ID cards can be forged, therefore let's not have them? It's like these people who claim that a WALL on our southern border won't work because it won't keep out 100% of the people who try to cross. Backwards logic.
An Election should always be “done over” when a Leftist Candidate spends $80 Million dollars (Beto) and Loses and when a Candidate spends almost $3 Billion (The Presumptive Queen ) and Loses.

Good point on a specific voter ID card. I thought this thread was going to be about the 2016 election not the 2018 elections.

Something tells me you do not apply that same logic to the gun control debate...

There is no constitutional right for anyone from any foreign country to invade and or remain in this country illegally. We as Americans have a right to secure our borders and to remain a sovereign nation, and there is indeed a 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms. Big difference....
