....At best, Lamberth said the government's actions reflect "negligence born of incompetence," adding, "At worst, career employees in the State and Justice departments colluded to scuttle public scrutiny of Clinton, skirt FOIA, and hoodwink this court.".....

A previous thread, on this forum, addressed the action and the above referenced article.( article dated Dec 6 2018.)
Once again, though, here are the facts:
* Judicial Watch,
a conservative watchdog group sued for emails related to the attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi. AND U.S. District
Judge Royce Lamberth in Washington, on December 6,
directed the State Department to work up a plan to provide relevant records to Judicial Watch.
* The judge said the disclosure of the documents, and possibly interviews of officials to explain the records, is needed to rule out government misconduct as
Judicial Watch is trying to prove.
*
The ruling may lead to new information about how the State Department handles requests filed under the Freedom of Information Act and may possibly reveal new email information during the process.
Doesn't sound like we are in a new probe to relitigate the much litigated Clinton email brouhaha, to me.
