I see why the SDNY and Mueller filings are largely redacted. Trump continues to obstruct and interfere. The government and special counsel have him and he is nervous.
Trump can no longer say Mueller is corrupt and out to get him. The SDNY, Schiff, and McCarthy agree that Trump and his circle have engaged in illegal activities.
They(SDNY) allege that “in coordination with and at the direction” of the president himself, Cohen carried out two hush-money payments to women who claimed affairs “with the intent to influence the 2016 presidential election.” They allege that Cohen committed “illegal campaign contributions,” a felony designed to help secure Trump the presidency — at Trump’s personal direction.
In the case of the hush-money revelations, prosecutors say that with these payments, Cohen not only circumvented legal limits on campaign contributions but also “struck a blow” to “transparency,” a “core goal” of “federal campaign finance laws,” by “orchestrating secret and illegal payments” that “deceived the voting public” by depriving it of “facts” that “he believed would have had a substantial effect on the election.”
To be clear, the allegation here is also that Trump directed this illegal act that “deceived the voting public.” For this reason, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and even right-leaning legal analyst Andrew McCarthy, a longtime Russia-probe skeptic, now say Trump probably faces indictment, probably after he leaves office. Crucially, McCarthy notes that prosecutors are also alleging that Cohen and Trump’s company “went to great lengths to conceal” the illegal contributions “by fraudulent bookkeeping.”
It's not a fix, it's a distraction. I'd argue that some have been quite effective, covfefe for example is mentioned in this thread and we all got the reference.
Some are intentional, others are just typos or flubs and then like a heroin addict are just irresistible smack to some.
They go after Obama for misspeaking and we seem to have post every couple of days about stupid stuff said by Maxine Waters or Ocasio etc. so not picking on either party. Just pointing those out of fairness.
P.S. Pretty skeevy though dragging race into it with your "black female" comment. As if Republicans ever gave "white male" Bill Clinton a pass over anything lol. I mean do we start calling you out for targeting jews if you make comments about Trumps jewish segment of the family?

Lord only knows what Trump was thinking of. His mind works independently of his fingers, but all he really wanted to say was what he always says: no collusion. All caps, of course, because capital letters are more honest?
Well, obviously a "smocking gun" would be a tool used by seamstresses when a dress has smocking.
But seriously, folks, Trump is such an ignoramus, such a liar, such a mean, conniving, cruel bully, probably guilty of more bad things than we dream of - do we need to waste time over the kind of auto-correct problems that plague all of us?
And if we were going to fault anything here, we should fault his capitalization, which shows that he doesn't even have a grasp of the essentials of basic English.
