Glad to know there are at least a couple of judges who actually define the constitutionality of a case rather than the politics of it.
Kavanaugh has certainly shown himself to be the better man after the grinder the left put him and his family through. THAT was shameful. Now I'll bet the left like the guy. Too funny.
Neither Kavanaugh or Gorsuch care about these social issues. They were pushed forward by the Federalist Society because of their pro-business views. Anyone who believed otherwise was being sold a bill of goods.
So, the Democrats, the media, and posters on C-D were lying about Kavanaugh and Gorsuch during their smear campaigns of both men?
The whole dog and pony show, the "handmaid's", the protesting, the screaming and wailing was all because some idiot convinced the sheeple on the left that Kavanaugh was going to overturn Roe vs Wade, defund PP, and essentially "kill hundreds of thousands of females" who wouldn't be able to go get their baby sucked out of them after they discovered the "inconvenience" through a test.
That's all that all of that was about.

Let's start with one premise - no one can be as bad as Scalia...and, by extension, his lapdog Thomas, who doesn't even think things through but always votes exactly the opposite of how a decent judge would.
Other SCOTUS Judges have often gotten more liberal as they occupy that bench. This doesn't mean the SCOTUS is anything but a political organization....they certainly appointed a POTUS, which was one of the biggest mistakes (both the appointment and the legacy of GWB) in our history. Citizens United is another nice one - brought to you by conservative judges. Conservatives obviously is shorthand for "mo money".
But the REALLY important point here is that right wing radicals are fine with Trump doing anything...including the Russia Stuff and much more...because, after all, he can pack the court! I've heard this time and time again....and the reason they wanted the Court packed was (in their words) to overturn Roe vs. Wade.
So who was wrong so far? Yep, conservatives who dropped any principles they had (w/Don) because they thought the Abortion and Women's health issues would be taken care of (removed) once and for all.
Now show us a single instance of anyone on the left (famous, not famous, in government, out of government, even here on CD) who has apologized for what the left did to Judge Kavanaugh and his family. I think you fail to understand: The guy appeared to be a drunken sleazeball who raped a woman while drunk. It would not matter if he was perfectly ideologically aligned with every liberal in the US, he got the attacks he deserved.
A sleazeball is a sleazeball no matter the ideology.
Now, it would simply be funny if he turned out to be a liberal judge (or at least a moderate). That still wouldn't excuse what he did, it's just that it would be funny/ironic given the lengths republicans went to defend him.

Well, as Newt said just recently - if anything regarding the President vs Mueller come before the current SCOTUS - they will then know IF they got what they paid for in Biff. Kavanaugh.
