Yeah, loved the way Reagan used to have the press in the negotiations with Gorbachev, because... that's how negotiations always work.

Right?

Nobody won. Especially Pelosi wanting to take it off camera.

Got an opinion on that?

If they would have investigated Obama as much and as hard as they are doing trump, I'm sure there would have been just as many or more....

And you lie, Obama and his campaign was fined....

Barack Obama's presidential campaign has been fined $375,000 by the Federal Election Commission for violating federal disclosure laws,

Because you never heard it does not mean it's true....

Regardless, it was a very bad idea that turned out poorly for the president.

A civil fine levied by an administrative agency for a reporting oversight is far different than a criminal prosecution, but you already know that...

Republicans’ $7 Million Benghazi Report Is Another Dud ...

https://www.vanityfair.com/.../house...enghazi-report
After a more than two-year investigation, encompassing 33 hearings held in congressional investigations and four public hearings, at an estimated cost of $7 million and counting,

Guess it takes COUNTLESS BUILDINGS TO FALL ON THE BRAIN DEAD heads of Republicans!

Here are facts you don't like...

  1. Quote:
“Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.”
  2. Clinton’s emails included seven message chains with information classified as top secret.
  3. “None of these emails should have been on any kind of unclassified system.”
  4. “The security culture of the State Department …was generally lacking in the kind of care for classified information found elsewhere in the government.”
  5. Comey acknowledged that the FBI did not normally make public its recommendations to prosecutors as to whether to bring criminal charges. He added: “In this case, given the importance of the matter, I think unusual transparency is in order.”
  6. “Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.”
  7. “I know there will be intense public debate in the wake of this recommendation, as there was throughout this investigation.”

Any other person would be fired and under the jail....

Oh, and your savior slick willie was impeached....maybe you forgot that....

Trump going to blame everyone but himself no matter what he says on camera. Trump made promises that he can’t keep again.

Pelosi knew it was a bad idea and made an attempt to protect him.

She said as much in the press conference afterwards when they asked about this and transparency.

Said she knew they were going to have to confront him on statements he made that were not factual and thought it best to do in private.

Though given that she's dealt with Trump for two years, she probably knew that he would dig in his heels the minute she brought the subject up.
