If you have the right job. San Fran, go figure.

A former senior investigator says he was fired for blowing the whistle on his boss, San Francisco District Attorney George Gascón, who he alleged carried a gun while flying — in violation of federal law.

As the article says he is being investigated and the fired investigator is suing, clearly you are wrong, you can’t carry a gun on a plane

Actually, IF you have the right job, you CAN carry a gun on a plane.
In fact, certain jobs are exempt from any "security screening" at all!
This is in no way a "startling revelation", although it is not publicized to any great extent.

I know police officers who can carry guns on a plan with proper credentials. Personally, I think all guns need to be removed from a plane. No one should be armed there.

Can't, never could do nothing.
If you were not a slave to your MASTERS, can't would not make it into your vocabulary, unless you personally tried.

With the right job, creds, flying armed training, and have to be for duty (ie enroute from one place to another place for training or work)
