BREAKING: Chuck Schumer (D-NY) agrees the Democrats will no longer filibuster Republican initiatives in the Senate
Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi just had a Democrat-style knockdown/dragout with President Trump in he White House. (No link, just saw it on TV) Afterward they went straight to the microphones outside the building, where Pelosi announcd the Republicans had complete control of the House of Representatives and the Senate. And Schumer stood next to her, nodding complacently.
This is a bombshell, since the Republicans have never had control of the Senate. As long as Schumer kept declaring filibusters for every issue from the national budget to the color of the paint in the Congressional bathrooms, the Republicans had NO ability to unilaterally work their will - a supermajority of 60 votes was needed for that.
But now Schumer has agreed that Republicans do have such control. This can only mean that the Democrats will stop filibustering at long last. I'm sure it's a welcome change for the Republicans, for which they thank the Democrats profusely.
Sounds like the OP is trying to create some fake news by misinterpreting Schumer's statement.
I saw it and he said nothing even close to the OP opinion.
Well, to be fair, it's obvious the OP's translator hasn't been working for quite some time now. Perhaps it sounded different in his native tongue of Trumpese.

As I have told you on many other occasions, Roboteer, you need a new translator.
If the GOP can't lead while holding all three branches of government, they are inept. Period. All your excuses don't change that fact.
Yep, they had it all, and couldn't get anything passed........no wall, no healthcare, no nothing ! You would think since they controlled all 3 areas, they could agree on something !

Competent, capable leaders know real leadership involves negotiation and compromise and reaching across the aisle in order to find common ground to move forward.
Incompetent leaders are unable to accomplish anything even when they hold all the cards they need to win. That leaves them with nothing to left but to blame everyone else.
Trump, with his fingers constantly pointing at everyone else for his failures, definitely is not a competent, capable leader by any stretch of the imagination. He's a man-child playing at being a grownup, and doing a really lousy job of it.
But a leader he is not. And his party is just as incompetent, so here we are.
The Thread headline is not true -- this is a video from the Oval Office and Schumer and Pelosi are really, really, REALLY upset that the media is filming their discussion.
Trump points out that they can't pass anything at all in the Senate when Schumer won't allow any Democrats to vote ..... ERGO -- Shutdown.
Schumer never said he would not Filibuster the Senate - he is saying just the opposite.
Nancy keeps saying -- we shouldn't do this is public. President Trump says -- "this is Transparency"
Trump wants to make it clear who is doing what .... and Why.
Look for a shutdown during the Christmas Holiday .... when Federal workers are off work anyway.
Without the senate--the dems have nothing but a house of cards, and they know it. Thats while they come out with this ridiculous false bravado..its kinda pathetic that these dopey REPRESENTATIVES dont seem to represent ANYTHING but their own selfish desires
TRANSLATION: If Republicans can't get the Democrats to quit being silly, obstructive, whiny brats, then it's Republicans' fault. Democrats are blameless throughout.
How can Republicans have majority control of every single branch of government and still try to be taken seriously as victims? You guys have either the tiniest balls in history, or lack any and all capacity of personal responsibility. If I had to guess, it's both.
