See my answer above. The FBI seized over 1 million pieces of evidence from Cohen. They have the evidence.
It may be hard to understand, but, essentially, if a person is a liar, and the FBI and Federal authorities obtain documentation, by said person, revealing the truth of the matter, it would be the height of idiocy for said person to continue to sprout said lie publicly, knowing that the FBI et al have the truth of the matter.
So, Cohen is admittedly a liar, which is why he worked as a 'fixer' for Mr. Trump. The FBI seized a mountain of evidence from Mr. Cohen, as well as from AMI and Trump's CFO.
Even Cohen is intelligent to know that now is the time to tell the truth.
What credibility is it that you are referring to? Of course it is not possible to poke holes in something that does not exist.

While this is bonkers, it doesn't hold a candle to Wallace's interview with Trump's attorney, Jay Sekulow, who got into an argument with himself over whether Trump was under investigation.
First, he said Trump was being investigated. Then he said he wasn't. Then he got testy with Chris Wallace over the matter and announced how should he know whether Trump was under investigation or not. They don't tell him that stuff.
I believe Chris Wallace spoke for all of us when he said, “Oh boy, this is weird.”
"There is a substantial amount of information that [ the mueller investigation ] possessed that corroborates the fact that I am telling the truth."
