Why are they evil? They usually are just guilty of financial crimes. Cohen is guilty of perjury and tax evasion. How is that pure evil? Personally, I think prison for perjury and tax evasion is barbaric. He should have gotten a fine instead.

You're asking me why a white collar criminal who takes hundreds of thousands or even millions or billions of dollars is evil?
I would say in simple terms: greed is evil - love/lust of wealth that you can't spend in a million years is evil.
So without a shadow of a doubt, white collar criminals are among the most heinous there are, in my opinion.
