So far the "sources" have been remarkably accurate. Even the often trashed "dossier" is turning out to be mostly correct -- which explains why Trump and his minions put so much energy into disparaging it. They knew that if the dossier was accepted as mostly true it would be used against them to prove collusion.

As I understand it, the laws overseeing inauguration spending are minimal. He would really need to have worked at it to make it illegal.
I have faith that he could do it.
I suspect that while the laws around inauguration spending are limited, the laws around what a non-profit does with money are not. And the inauguration spending was through a non-profit.
