Nobody is being fooled. The Russian Meme is dead. I've said it for 2 years, and this is a real world example that there was no money there AT ALL.
The mechanisms are different, though. In this sort of scenario, Facebook would make more sense to use because of the share factor. You can't really share a YouTube ad with someone, but could with something you see on FB.

https://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/nat...195231139.html

"the NRA reported spending a record $55 million on the 2016 elections, including $30 million to support Trump – triple what the group devoted to backing Republican Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential race. Most of that was money was spent by an arm of the NRA that is not required to disclose its donors."

"It is illegal to use foreign money to influence federal elections."

So, let's get this right. Do you think using foreign money, whether one million or (much more likely) 10+ Million....UNDER THE TABLE (not disclosed...of course, it would be against the law if disclosed...)....is OK?

Do you wish to rescind our election laws and to let China or the Saudis buy elections also?

You must stand on one side or the other??

Dear.

Russians spent $4,700. Hillary spent upwards of $2,000,000,000 when it was all said and done.

Let that sink in, then move on. I know you accept the MSM without thought or question, but here's why you should try to bound what they say as mostly nonsense.

The Russian Meme is dead.

Russia spent the money in the OP on GOOGLE, are you saying Hillary spent money on Google?

RUSSIANS spent millions on SOCIAL PLATFORMS, not Google and/or it's affiliates.

Hillary and her campaign spent millions to target voters and on social media

Hillary’s campaign cost well over a billion in the end

Why couldn’t she counter what the Russians were supposedly saying?

Because the Russians used the platforms better. They also added in the ability to commit crimes and hack peoples servers, and to use agents. Plus unlike her their message was much easier and more effective. She had to convince folks to vote for her. Thats FAR harder then just creating chaos and division.

Yes because if it weren’t for the Russians everyone would be holding hands and getting along. That liberals have nothing to do with the decision in our country. Lmao

Entire Russian companies were devoted to this effort so I wouldn’t call it baseless, you are looking at one minor aspect to dismiss their attempt to steer our election.
