Agreed. How is this constitutional?

. . . as news of Amawi’s lawsuit began to circulate on Monday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott tweeted his support for Israel--“Texas stands with Israel,” he wrote. “Period.”

He didn't say that there was a misunderstanding.

Contract law... Not employment law plays out here and she loses.
This is Lawfare against policy, they as a very small % of the population(that are unwelcome) are effected as intended.
When you are self employed, it is called a business decision. Not a violation of employment law.

They are not forcing her as a self employed business, subcontracting.
This is contract law. It is not employment law

Here is a clue for her and her lawyer.
It is your business and your contract you agree to, not your clients contract they present you.
Go to your doctor you need services from with a contract you want and tell him to sign it, before he works on you.

She's employed by a public school district. That requirement is unconstitutional. Compelled speech, etc., has already been ruled unconstitutional by SCOTUS.

Doesn't matter. Her contract is with a PUBLIC school district. As a PUBLIC entity, they cannot compel speech.

Contract law in the State of Texas... Well versed in it.
What do you need to know?
She made a business decision without negotiating her contract(not theirs)
She could very well Retracted the entire clause with a black sharpie, and sign it... It then becomes her contract to them. not their contract for her to sign.
She is trying to treat this as if she were employed. No lady, you were contracted and have no clue how contractors work.
Check and see if she has been paying income tax!!!

Any contract with a PUBLIC entity cannot violate the Constitution. The public school district presented an unconstitutional requirement. I'm siding with the teacher on this one.

No she isn't.
Never has been employed by the school district.
She has been a independent contractor, not paying her taxes for a few years there. It is forbidden in Islam to pay tax or interest.
