- No support from Congressional Democrats.
- Polling shows most Americans are against a wall.
- Mexico has said they will not pay for it.
- Trump's funding "plan" you linked has not been implemented, seems politically unfeasible, and in any event covers less than half the cost of the wall.
- Trump just backed down from his "line-in-the-sand" Government shutdown bluff
- Sarah Sanders has given only vagaries and allusions towards a solution that, at least as currently presented, is illegal and impossible anyway
- There are 2 days left before Democrats take the House

Yet here you are not only telling us that the wall will be built, but that everyone else is in denial by pointing out it won't. Simply amazing.

Default TRUMP SUPPORTER: If he is unsuccessful in 2020 building a border wall with Mexico, will you still support him?

It looks like Trump has given up on his border wall with Mexico. He claims that the US Army will build it but without funding from Congress, it won't happen.

So it is 2020 and Trump is running for re-election and he is lying about the wall and telling all his base that he is proud of his success with the border wall but the media tells everyone that there is no progress on the wall and Trump is lying. What will you think?

Thought this was pretty funny:

Trump should make the wall out of Hilary's emails
since people can't get over them.

Portions of the have been built and have successfully denied people from entering the United States Illegally....

I know this is going to be hard for you to accept, but here are facts:

Quote:
El Centro Project (2.25 miles): Completed.
El Paso Project (20 miles): Completed
San Diego Primary Project (14 miles): Completion anticipated in May 2019.
El Paso Project (4 miles): Construction started in September

Quote:
How effective is this new border wall? On Sunday, when a violent mob of 1,000 people stormed our Southern border, we found the newly constructed portions of the wall to be very effective.

And here is what is coming up:

Quote:
In FY18, Congress provided $1.375B for border wall construction which equates to approximately 84 miles of border wall in multiple locations across the Southwest border, including:
  • $251M for a secondary border wall in the San Diego Sector
  • $445M to construct a new levee wall system in the Rio Grande Valley Sector
  • $196M to construct a new steel bollard wall system in Rio Grande Valley Sector
  • $445M for a primary pedestrian wall in San Diego, El Centro, Yuma and Tucson Sectors
Research is your friend....

You sound like you believe anything Trump tells you. You’re precisely the type of gullible septuagenarian on whom fraudsters prey. It’s too bad your Orange God is gutting all types of consumer protection designed to save people like you from themselves.
Exactly when you show many a number of terrorist attacks we’ve had from people sneaking across the border then we can talk about the wall. Last time I checked since 9/11 most of the terrorists attacks were us citizens whoncmae by legal immigration or were born here.

Either way .... I'd rather see aid monies in this hemisphere. A more successful Mexico, is better at stemming some desire to leave Mexico for the US.
There is nothing better to appreciate America than a little (or a lot) of Chinese investments. Countries all over Africa rue the day they got into bed with the Chinese.

What a mess.

Republicans can't agree but folks will blame the Democrats -- LOL.
Depends on the program involved. Mostly, he can't. In terms of the total federal budget, $5 billion is couch cushion change, he might be able to find it. But it's simply not true that he has carte blanche to move money around as he pleases.

Default Trump's border wall plans kaput....

https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/19/polit...all/index.html

"Trump made a promise -- and kept reiterating a promise -- he is now going back on.
And his backing down this time has real consequences. Remember that Democrats take control of the House come January. Which means that the next time we have a government funding fight like this, it will be with divided government. And it's VERY hard to see how Trump will get the $5 billion+ he wants for a border wall with Democrats in charge in the House. Heck, he hasn't been able to get the money he wanted for the wall over the last two years, with Republicans in charge of everything!"
