On 10/22, Trump announced a 10% tax cut for the middle class before the midterms. Even put Kudlow out there to do the blah-bla. When reminded that Congress was not in session, the story changed to right after the midterms with a proposal released before.
It's been 6 weeks since the midterms.
Did I miss something? Where's the plan? Did Congress act on this?
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said they are focusing on corrections from last year. It came across as "I'm not saying we're gonna do the tax cuts, I'm not saying we aren't". Meaning most likely not.

It's temporary but they already cut taxes for working people. Expires 2025.
Oh, you mean another 10%. Why don't we just balloon the deficit up to 30 trillion. We can then compare notes with Weimar Germany on how many wheelbarrows of dollars it takes to buy a loaf of bread.
