Mnuchin says that Deripaska, not the companies, was the intended target of U.S. sanctions, and now that he owns just under 50% of the companies it is OK to lift the sanctions. Congress has 30 days to block this action.

Trump's treasonous actions set over-the-top precedents that no one had ever anticipated which calls for extraordinary measures. He should be kicked/dragged out of office asap.

Exactly and the Republican Senate for the most part is complicit. Never thought I would see the Republican Party in bed with Russia. But here we are.
