He blames the a Democrats even though he proudly stated on camera he would shut down the government personally if he didn’t get what he wanted. Then proceeds to state most of the employees affected by the shutdown are Democrats (as if that would matter), so it’s no big deal. I’m not sure how anyone but a true believer can defend him at this point.
This was such an ignorant statement. Everything Individual 1 does is to pander to the flyover worshipers. It’s disgusting. He has no interest in serving everyone.
Nothing like the concentrations in those Democrat Plantations.
They will not keep it shutdown for long because it would be effecting lobbyists then that purchase our politicians and that is when the real war would start.
It will be a lot more people getting no money if the shutdown continues. Payments from the Trump subsidies to cushion the blow from Trump tariffs on farmers won't get paid. 42,000 US Coast Guard members won't get paid. Federal workers will not be paid, lots of ugly stuff will happen for sure.
Trump and his incompetent Republicans had full control of all 3 branches for 2 years and passed NOTHING for his stupid wall promises. Now they think their best move is shut down government and blame Democrats the day they walk in. Seriously, the Republicans are completely spineless and totally incompetent.
Exactly.
The longer the shutdown goes on will hurt more of the wealthy than the poor that depend on government largess.
Once again - few appear to know what the definition of “Partial” is and most are clueless about the differences between Appropriation Spending Bills (which are discretionary spending) and Mandatory Spending.
It is not Armageddon, people will not be starving or dying in the streets.
We are talking only 7 Spending bills that are Discretionary Spending.
We will all survive ... even the Total Meltdown Leftists
Gives the percentages of recipients by political party affiliation for each program. Data Sources listed in the article: The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs (syracuse.edu) and NPR

I think you need to re-read the opening post. It was not written by a leftist.
It is a fact that the government will run out of money for the Foodstamp program. Care to actually address that and how it's going to force the hands of Congress to negotiate?
President Trump signed the Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018 on December 20th. That law funds SNAP, or as you call it, the Foodstamp program.
Exactly how is it a "fact" that the government will run out of money for SNAP when it's already been funded for the foreseeable future?
