"Social media giant Facebook gave multiple tech companies including Amazon, Yahoo, and Microsoft access to far more user data than Cambridge Analytica ever dreamed of accessing.

A recent report from the New York Times reveals that Facebook formed “data partnerships” with companies such as Microsoft, Netflix, Amazon, Spotify, and Yahoo, granting these companies access to more user data than Cambridge Analytica ever had. This is an important note to make as Cambridge Analytica allegedly had access to the personal data of 87 million users which resulted in a scandal that Facebook is still recovering from."

Nice of him to give all our info away to big tech, huh?

Facebook keeps telling lies and keeps getting caught. If anyone is using it, it’s at their own peril.

Nice of people who use Facebook to voluntarily give all their data to FB.
If you use something on the Internet for free, the product is you.
Even when you are paying, do you think Amazon became a Fortune 10 company selling toilet paper on the Internet?

What information though could they have that you don’t already post voluntarily on FB? I don’t remember FB asking for social security or credit card info when I signed up

I have to ask - why are those of you on Facebook STILL on it? Zuckerberg is a lowlife lying weasel, at best. If he told me the time I would check my watch.

Get off of there now before it gets even worse.

That's what I keep saying, as well. It's bad enough that the government can listen to our conversations through cell phones unless we take the battery out, and hackers get into smart tv's that have built-in cameras and are able to view the room. All of these smart items, like beds, etc. have the ability to be hacked.

And getting Alexa and Echo is just inviting it all.

Because I don’t go and post my entire life on FB like others. Just use it to keep in touch with people
