And don't think for a second that the meathouses and assembly lines and farms won't find loopholes and workarounds.

Not only that but not all illegals are coming here to work. Certainly criminals, terrorists and the drug cartels aren't looking for work, thus the wall.

As for those seeking jobs even with losing that incentive we'd have to deny their kids our birthright citizenship and benefits also as they could live off of the welfare they get off of them. There are many reasons to build the wall and none for not building it.

Drug cartels and terrorists aren't going to be stopped by a wall.

The 10 terrorists Trump claims were stopped -- were stopped at border crossings.

There is never ever any record of any terrorist in the USA who 'snuck' in.

So many myths......

No one is seeking to blame or prosecute the Dreamers for being here illegally- they just can't continue to be here illegally.
No they should not stay here illegally-- so give them a pathway to citizenship. They did not 'accidentally' wonder into the US.

Their parents brought them here intentionally and they should not be punished for it.

Anyone who calls themselves a 'christian' would most likely agree.

Erik Paulsen (Minnesota) - Lost re-election in November by double digits.
Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (Florida) - Had announced she was retiring.
David Valadao (California) - Lost re-election by less than 1 point in November.
Ken Buck (Colorado) - Claims he wanted the wall, just didn't want it tied to government shutdown.
Justin Amash (Michigan) - Claims it's massive, wasteful spending bill—stuffed with unrelated items and that the Democrats will try to attach Medicare For All to it.
Fred Upton (Michigan) - Another who wanted border security tied to the 2 million dreamers and claims the wall may not be appropriate in all areas.

Note: Not using "claims" in a derogatory way. Just don't know if it's true. Looks like we Republicans only have to remember 3 of them when they come up for re-election next time.
The ones in California, Colorado, Florida, and Michigan are doing it to get their bread buttered because they are in high Democrat-leaning areas. But what is the excuse for Will Hurd and Erik Paulsen?

Dreamers will not be deported. IF they are, it will be decades before there is another Republican president. The majority of voters are NOT on your side.

THAT, my friend, is the major difference between your team and ours. We see them as humans, your side sees them as a problem.
The 'compassionate conservative' seems nonexistent these days

Most drugs are coming in right through the border crossings. There are drug mules carrying through the desert and crossing over the border, but its a small percentage.

So to continue my example, if you get caught trespassing in a restricted zone, let's say you unintentionally walk into a non-public area of the airport, you think the answer is not to remove you from the restricted area but to seignate you as an authorized person? So the way to become legal is to unintentionally commit an illegal act.

As far as I know, no one has ever made it to that point, it usually gets caught and that person is thrown off the ballot.

Not always...
