It was so mean-spirited of her to go after a 17-year-old victim of a high school mass shooting. Good for him. He'll become much more admired and accomplished in his life than she ever will.
Stop with the "17 year old" crap. Either he is an adult whose views should be taken seriously, or he's just "a child."
He didn't "get into Harvard" as a qualified student. He's on their "special situation" list, and the "special situation" is only Harvard's desire to use him to further a Progressive agenda.
Personally I don't think it will work, he really doesn't have what it takes to go the distance or make a career out of this "activist" stuff unless his parents manage him.
Why all this focus on David Hoff when the real villians were Glenn Haas and Fox News. Fox went with a bogus story that CNN was scripting students reactions, Glenn Haas callously exploited his son to push a false narrative. Fox News went with the story despite CNN saying the evidence ( an email was fabricated). As it turned out the father did indeed edit the email to change the narrative..
I have yet to hear one Trumpster condemn these actions. That tells me all I need to know about their moral compass.
It is because Fox News cannot be fake news, they support Trump. Everyone knows that fake news is fake when it attacks Trump.
Thanks for clearing that up. Ingraham is irrelevant. She tries to make herself relevant by going after a high school/college student who lived through a tragedy. I hope he uses his journey as his testimony. He will help many people. I wish him the best.
Not a fan of Mr. Hogg at all right now, but I understand that he is young man and people change quite a bit over time. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like meeting myself at age 18, so let's chalk up a lot of his actions to youth and the fact that he was around a traumatic event.
However, I am happy to see young people achieving goals, regardless of political ideology, so it is good he was accepted to an outstanding school.
Yes- the private schools, particularly the Ivy League schools, often accept "unique" individuals who may not exactly meet the average academic acceptance criteria. I see nothing wrong with that at all, as the average fellow student can learn something (good or bad) from such individuals that are different from themselves.
Sadly, I doubt Mr. Hogg would have been accepted to Harvard if he had been a conservative activist. I think that most universities are missing out on this aspect of "diversity", as universities should be places of very widely varying opinions.

I agree with the first point but I bet just as with the sons of affluence and those with intercollegiate athletic skills once allowed in "it will work" and he will get out with a BA from Harvard. Which in the end, no matter what his college grade point average or graduate school admissions test scores are mean more to the American ear than a perfect grade point average and graduate school admissions test scores from State University.
Right now Hogg seems to be living comfortably inside the heads of his haters, he's very kicked back and very relaxed up there with his feet up. They absolutely can't move on from this kid, I didn't know he was all that. But, whatever it is he have over them, it sure is working. They go to bed with Hogg on their minds and wake up with Hogg on their minds, and Hogg don't even know they exist. He means so much to them now, that they will be following his entire stay at Harvard.
Congrats, he will be in the bottom 1/10th of 1% of those admitted to Harvard. Normally those super low SAT scores (for Harvard) are reserved for minorities.
You know what they call the person who graduated last in his class from Harvard? A Harvard graduate.

You know what I think of a Harvard graduate that is dumber than I am....smart but not TT smart.
You do know that after you graduate, eventually you will be required to perform tasks and you will eventually be judged on your ability to perform those tasks.
