Trump has shut down the government over what he proposed Mexico was to pay for. Should we pay for it?

Let Mr. " I'm very rich" pay for it, if he wants it so badly. Aside from the fact it is not going to accomplish anything, it is also a waste of money.

Of course not. He campaigned on Mexico paying for it. So he shuts down government because of his lies and incompetence.

Heck no! The irony of Trump shutting down the gov't 'cus he wants tax payers to fund a wall that Mexico should pay for is mind boggling.

For anyone who wants a wall, by all means help yourself to the GoFundMe wall fund. Good luck getting Mexico to reimburse you for it too!

LOL at Democrats using the “too expensive” line of argument. These people have never seen a spending program they didn’t like regardless of how ineffective it is. Half of congressional Democrats are pushing a 40 trillion dollar universal healthcare program. Illegal immigration costs us hundreds of billions of dollars a year. They just don’t want to give Trump a political win, they hate Trump more than they love our country. If I were trump I would hold the line on the wall, 99% of the furloughed non-essential government employees are Democrats anyway. They will pressure the lawmakers to give trump the money once they miss a few paychecks.

The GOP won't pass his wall either. So it's not the "libs" that are holding out. No one wants a taxpayer funded wall. Another Trump fail.

Not everyone wants a taxpayer funded Planned Parenthood, but we're forced to fund it anyway. And it's interesting that almost $18 million has been raised in less than 2 weeks for a wall, and a measly $158,000 for the "ladders" gofundme fund.

Democrats are shooting themselves in the foot over shutting down the gov't over this issue, and it's going to kick them in the tail in 2020. Once again, they're putting catering to illegals over keeping Americans safe. 140,000 illegals crossing our border in the last 2 months is NOT keeping our country safe.

Are there any Trump supporters who aren't mad at him that he isn't making Mexico pay for the wall?

Republicans have controlled Congress and the presidency. If they can't pass a budget then it's not the Democrats fault.
