No President has been so maligned and viciously opposed by the opposing party and media than Trump!

The Dems. simply use the opposition to Obama as an excuse to justify what even they know is wrong. What President opened the door to wholesale Executive Orders, in lieu of working with Congress? As you say, you can't have it both ways - and 'revenge politics' are a poor alternative to governing for either party.

BTW, Obama spent 8-years blaming Bush for everything wrong --- and taking credit for everything right!

Ultimately-the lessons Republicans need to learn is to grow a spine. They have always caved to Democrats. That is how the US healthcare system was destroyed by Obamacare.

#6 Most people don't care.

I wonder why a new law isn't proposed that would make the members of Congress lose their pay and perks when they shut down the Government? How about a law that says they don't get paid whenever the budget doesn't balance?

We all have to live within our means and be careful where we spend our hard earned money so why shouldn't the Government be held to the same common sense economics?

Some may point out that The Wall is a stupid expenditure but when we consider that illegal immigration costs us all approx. $89 Billion per year with California paying $23 Billion of that suddenly a mere $5 billion doesn't sound like much and might actually be a good investment to slow the waste in spending when it comes to illegal aliens.

Here’s a hot take .. the Great Obama had a Super Majority for a time AND still didn’t produce a Passed Budget.

Winner. That's it right there. If they are "non essential", how about we just cut them out altogether.
