I would say that 2010 was quite different than 2018, Trump just gave a tax cut primarily to the wealthiest individuals and now we have a deficit problem.

I agree, but the future looks a lot better, because many of these young, educated women are bringing some energy to the party, and hopefully a better message for the voters. The top Democratic leadership of the past, people like Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, were/are just horrible.

It reminds me of the Harlem Globetrotters and the Washington Generals, I feel like the Democrats are in on it.

Does this include the Pentagon?

It impacts all federal workers (estimated at 2 million), while excluding the military. They still get their 10% raise.

I think he should hit the federal workers with a 10% pay reduction. They will still be overpaid for what they do.

So let's see the numbers for kicks...

200 million registered voters
https://www.politico.com/story/2016/...ca-2016-229993

58% of them showed up to vote
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politic...2016-elections

And about half voted for Trump. So he is president, yes, but it's not like a majority of registered voters chose him or anything, to be precise.

That was scandalous and disheartening. No one can be more upset with this than Democrats themselves.

However, I don't think we are going to see the same thing happen again. The DNC instituted reforms since then, new people are in charge and they know all eyes are on them. They actually care what people think, and this was a big black eye for the movement.

Overall it is a good group of people.

Under Pelosi the (D)'s lost huge majorities in the House. They become a majority again and you allow the one who lost huge majorities in the past take over again?

They've learned nothing.
