Sure do.. We've had great unemployment figures going back to the second Clinton administration. (note, I'm able to admit that we had a good economy under Clinton, unike others who wont give Bush any credit, even when its due)

Jees, I wonder what changes happened then.. Ohhh I know.. A Republican Congress took over.

Btw, slightly off-topic but, also take a peek at who and who does not have the power to DECLARE WAR and PAY FOR IT.

All there in that wonderful document. Interesting read.

BTW...

How many wars have we fought and paid for since the last declared conflict?

Since that last declared war, it seems that a declaration is an outdated formality from the 18th century. Regardless of who starts it and how that's accomplished, the American public pays for it. In all ways.

As it has always been. The sacrifice in WWII was phenomenal, both in dollars and blood.

I wonder how you would have fared back then?

Judging by all the males in my family of that age (who ALL served and saw combat), I would have done OK if I survived. My own military service (1970s) didn't involve any combat. How about you?

I wonder how a chickenhawk like Limbaugh would have fared back then...
