Well only another $5.68 billion to go. I think it is good that those who love a wall are going to pay for it. Last I heard 70,000 had donated out of 50,000,000 who voted for Trump. Kind of says something about how much they really want a wall.

Well, more power to him. I think more people are all for it as long as taxpayers don't have to foot the bill.

What about tax payers paying for illegal aliens on welfare. More like 100 billion there. The wall is a bargain in comparison.

Sometimes that is how things have to get done--incrementally, forging ahead, creating momentum.

People who have never accomplished anything don't know that.

There will never be Trump's Ming Dynasty wall at the southern border. What a maniacal obsession.

However, the United States Constitution does not have any provisions for ridiculous GoFundMe campaigns to pay for racist ridiculous walls, no matter how hard right-wing scammers may wish it to be so. So far, Brian Kolfage's "We the People Will Fund The Wall" scam campaign has raised over $10 million out of their $1 billion goal, thanks to some good old-fashioned amplification on Fox News and other right-wing outlets.

Propaganda Purveyor

Now, about Brian Kolfage. Kolfage may be a veteran and a triple amputee, but he's also a self-promoting purveyor of hate and propaganda on Facebook. He might promote himself as a "verified" Facebook entity, but that doesn't mean anything beyond proof of identity and little more. Media Matters has an extensive report on him. Here's just a little of it...

The bottom line here is that this is just another right-wing scam to harvest data on gullible people, promoted by Laura Ingraham and other Fox "News" personalities. GoFundMe should end it before it does harm to their reputation.

According to your post they do, who would have thought?

yes, and then trump stepped up and offered even more dreamers than the democrats wanted, and schummer shut down the government when push came to shove. he did teh same thing to trump that oneil did to reagan in the 80s.

Trump took the blame for the shut down. It’s his fault. He wants to have a tantrum like a child and now blaming Democrats. 5 billion is only a down payment to get things started. After the Republicans passed the tax scam and it left less money in the coffers for anything else. Now they want to get into even more debt. Trump loves to brag about how he is so wealthy, let him kick in for the Trump wall which no doubt will have his name on it like everything Trump has.
