If Trump raped one of their family members, his supporters swould just say they shouldn’t have dressed so provocatively and had it coming. Remember who we are dealing with. Their allegiance is to Trump and Trump only.

Perhaps it will get sooooo expensive for Apple that at some point they'll take their trillion dollars and start using American workers in American factories and pull out of China completely.

the trump negotiations with tariff threats are a good thing.. the globalist fascist liberals and no tariffs have set us on a un-level path... tariffs level the playing field.....the no tariffs by the globalist liberals is what caused all the outsourcing of jobs..... why do you think that American companies like GE make everything in Mexico and Malaysia... they would rather outsource the jobs paying Mexicans 80/week than to pay Americans 25/hr … tariffs (especially on those American companies that outsource 99% of their jobs) is the cure for the globalist liberal debacle

we need importtariffs on product (to include American companies) that are made/assembled in Mexico

why should GE (for example) get off paying 100 Mexicans 80/week, to assemble alarm clocks and then IMPORT it to the USA for free, when they could be paying Americans in America 25/hr.

the globalist liberals freetrade is not free
well firstly because it is GE's money and property to manage as it sees fit, not Trumps, not Mussolini's.
Secondly and no less important, so Americans consumers can buy a more inexpensive alarm clock and put the savings towards other needs/wants thus improving their own standard of living.
tariffs are nothing but reverse embargo/sanctions on ourselves. You suppose the quality of life went up in Iran when sanctions were imposed on it?

Well certainly these political decisions isn't going to drive US products to excellence.

While I agree Apple products are getting expensive, I've bought a few new products in the past few months. There is pushback in the higher prices from the consumer but that is in combination with the trade war factors.

The news from Apple unleashed a shockwave. Just a few months ago, the tech giant was the first U.S. company to cross $1 trillion in market capitalization. It peaked in August at $1.1 trillion. As tech stocks suffered a brutal turn toward the end of last year, Apple has fallen out of the top three most valuable U.S. companies.

It was surpassed by in the last quarter of 2018 by Microsoft as the most valuable company with a market capitalization of $780 billion.

Apple lowered its quarterly revenue forecast for the first time in more than 15 years Wednesday, in a move prompted by ebbing iPhone sales in China. A signal of economic gloom in the world’s second largest economy, Apple’s move followed a batch of pessimistic sentiment indicators earlier in the week.

“This move from Apple shows you that investors are finding it difficult to hide,” said Roland Kaloyan, head of European equity strategy at Société Générale. “There are two main reasons for the move: First, numbers from China have put fears in the market about growth for this year, and second, the impact on U.S. companies of a stronger dollar.”

We know that you and others suffering from TDS feel this way, but one does wonder on this subject at least, how you would propose evening out the trade imbalance with China that they have gotten away with for years under both D's & R's ?
Also, all the intellectual property pilfered and reproduced, then sold back to our country helping to cripple sections of our industry while making them stronger?

Trump himself believes that he alone is responsible for whatever he considers "good" in our country and around the world.

Can't have one without the other.

Just as Obama took credit for Trump's economy.

Still burning from the historical shame of being the first US president never to have seen even one year with an average GDP growth of at least 3%, and holding that record for two terms, Obama said:

“By the time I left office wages were rising … poverty was falling and that’s what I handed off to the next guy,” he said before chuckling. “So when you hear all this talk about economic miracles right now. Remember who started it. Remember who started it! C’mon!”

When he took office, it was 136, and today it is 143, and increase of 7 points. Not exactly 30% as you claim. It was 19 when Obama took office, but I am not arguing their success was created by Obama.

What a coincidence--I feel the same about GM & Ford.

Nevertheless, if these companies leave or disappear from the US, Trump is going downhill fast. The economy and stock market were all he had going.
