Dems will seek to change that, and illegals often steal citizens ss, which can lead to them voting.
More made up fantasies by the far-right.
Also, a social security number doesn't allow you to vote. Green card holders are issued SSN's for tax purposes. Citizenship is required to vote - you can't register to vote unless you're a citizen.
If the Dems were prepared to spend $25B on a wall last year, then how can they be so adamant now that spending just $5B is wasteful and immoral?
The Democrats as a whole didn't offer. Only Chuck Schumer did (in January 2018) and only because he didn't want another government shutdown. Of course that didn't work. Why? Because Trump doesn't negotiate.

Well, if you look at the difference, first it was proposed by the GOP led house. The $25B was not for THE WALL strictly. It was for all sorts of border security and part of the $25B would provide some "advance" funds for Trump's wall. In exchange, the 700,000 "dreamers" would get a path to citizenship.
So, you tell me, why did Trump not take that deal? Seems pretty good.

Any bill providing path to citizenship should be limited to far less than 1.8 mill DACA "kids", but solely kids who came by kindergarten to the USA. (Kids who came when older spent significant time in their home birth nation).
In addition, citizenship should require them first to successfully assist nation by turning in family still here illegally who brought them here.
It should also enhance immigration courts to facilitate deporting illegals very quickly upon capturing those criminals, and permanently forbid them from every entering US soil again, for life.
I agree with some of that, but it will be extremely difficult to prove at what age they were brought here.
As far as turning in family members? I think that is fair if all citizens of the country assist their nation by having to turn in any family members who are breaking any laws, or evading taxes or breaking laws with other forms of white collar crime. That work for you?

I would agree with that, as long as its all laws, all socio-economic forms, including turning in those on unemployment not trying for jobs, or those on Disability who are physically doing things requiring like motion vs work, or those on SNAP with under the table income. .
Trump's pet project? He just wants the wall funded and built that was approved by congress back in 2006 with Schumer and Obama's signature on it. Why do you have a problem with that?
