Read on another thread that the Heritage Foundation doesn't care for his latest plan.

So Trump presented a plan that he "negotiated" with VP Pence and Kushner that absolutely nobody wants? Not the Democrats. Not the Heritage Foundation. Not Ann Coulter. Not his base.

Geeze.

Perhaps Trump's acting Chief of Staff needs to explain how this negotiating thing works.

He needed to offer like for like--permanent citizenship for the Dreamers--for it to be an equitable offer. Only a fool would think such a lopsided offer was something the other side would even consider. But that's what Trump is, so no big surprise there.
Exactly!

We should not negotiate with terrorists.

Release the innocent millions of hostages you have taken, then we talk.

If Dems negotiate on GOP terms, then GOP will look to shutdown / hostage taking every time they can't pass a bill they want through Congress.

I would have even been good before with negotiation for a wall - wall FOR DACA, etc. - but not now, not ever in the face of right-wing terrorist tatcics.

At least you are quite clear on who is holding the government hostage. Trump wants his way or he will continue to hold this country hostage.

He learned his business practices from the Mafia. Now, he thinks he can apply them to politics. Unfortunately, about 20% of our population also thinks our country should be run as if the Mafia was in charge. But this faction of sycophants is fragmenting and will soon disintegrate. Trump's Waterloo is nigh.
You are exactly correct as to how he has handled this.

Even his own administration is predicting that 800,000 people out of work is going to have a serious impact on the trump economy.

Hence made for TV show today

And now you think we should trust democrats?
You have to be kidding.

Bob.
You must be very naive to think that only one party created and/or can solve all of our issues with immigration.

Republicans haven't been too interested in it either, have they?

In fact, only about one-fourth of Republican lawmakers voted in any kind of support for Trump's wall.

TLDR; but caught the jist.

People aren’t “flooding” in. The numbers have been declining for most of the last decade.
No one can prove that their numbers have been "declining". Where I live, there are no signs that illegals are leaving and no signs that no more are coming in.

And, yes, they are trying to come in here by the thousands. Are you unaware of the thousands that have made up recent caravans?

BTW, even one illegal coming in is one too many.

You are correct. The dems are the terrorists here. They are putting illegal aliens ahead of the millions of suffering underemployed and unemployed American citizens.

The point I made clearly was that the democrats promised Reagan they would work top solve immigration, and went back on their word, once Reagan gave the millions who entered illegally, amnesty.
Immigration reform was a dead issue in the democratic party, once amnesty was granted by Reagan.

The dems CAN NOT BE TRUSTED.
THEY HAVE ALREADY SHOWN THAT. in the past.

Bob.

Extinction. I am not that optimistic. Smaller is doable.

I wonder how many of those members of the Democratic party are still in Congress?

Should I blame you for mistakes your father made?
