Ironically, this democratic chest pumping is why Trump has no intention of giving up his wall when the 3 weeks is up and the government is shutdown again.
Did you see the news today? Air traffic controllers are now calling off because they are not getting paid. Workers processing tax return refunds are calling off because they can't afford gas to ge to work. It's disrupting our entire country! Plus, by thousands of workers not getting paid it's hurting OUR economy!
It's not about the left or the right, it's about common sense! Trump will not get re-elected over this, he dug his own grave. He could have went about it a better way! Yes, securing our country is important, but what Trump did was act like a child because he was not getting his way!

Guaranteed Trump did not give this up without some long term vision, so let them call him stupid, let them gloat, let them think whatever they want. We will, as usual, get the opportunity to laugh in their face when, yet again, they get proven wrong.
So, Trump just finished speaking. Three week funding extension durin which time Convresz is expected to pass a bill with funding for the wall. If they fail, then it appears the emergency order will be signed and implemented.
