Absolutely zero reasons for them to compromise. Trump is weak and they smell blood.
Trump has better chances getting Mexico to pay for his wall than he does with the US House. There'll be some face saving thing or other in the new budget bill, but it will not be his white middle finger monument.
A substantial amount of money will be designated for 'border security'. Some walls will be allowed to be built in the areas where it makes sense currently, or an enhancement on existing walls. The Dems and GOP will come to a common sense solution, and Trump can claim victory because of those small stretches of walls.
And then the real job of governing can go on in Congress. The White House? Not so much, but the current resident in chief is mostly irrelevant anyways now.
For two years, his lickspittle GOP congress simply enabled his childish impulses, tried to obscure his criminality and kowtowed to his narcissistic whims.
Now, one house of congress is going to hold him accountable.
That's something he's never experienced until now.
Pelosi has a lower approval rating than Trump. Says all I need to know about her and fake news acting like she's the Second Coming.
