Yeah, because when Reagan fired 11,000 air traffic controllers in 1981 it worked out so badly for him.

Hah! So basically he caused more financial damage than the $ he wanted for his dumb wall. Go figure. We all know he isn't a financial genius as attested by his filing bankruptcy 6 times, but now we have more evidence that he's ruining our country with his incompetence.

MAGA! = Morons are Governing America!

Here, I will help you out. These are some of the pages/page titles that come up on first page of the Google search results (they are mostly all from 2018):

Quote:
Trump's Approval Rating Rises Among Hispanics

Quote:
Poll: Black, Asian, Hispanic support enough to help Trump win re-election

Quote:
Trump approval rating with blacks now at 36%, Rasmussen poll says

Quote:
Trump has gained support among black voters since 2016 - CNNPolitics

Quote:
A third of Latino voters still support GOP, despite Trump's rhetoric

Quote:
Defying pundits, GOP share of Latino vote steady under Trump

Keep in mind some of those sources are liberal.

Those data should terrify you liberals - Trump is GOING TO WIN REELECTION. And I'm not the only one who thinks this - I've heard a number of democratic figures say this recently.

If you think that they got the better of Trump then I don't know what to tell you. First, you b*tch because he shuts down the government and now that he has re-opened it you're still b*tching and demonizing him by laughing at him. There is no satisfying those of you with TDS.
It doesn't matter to them what he does...orange man BAD!

Sort of a change in subject here, but I can't resist revisiting this.

About 10 days ago this board was full of the latest "genius, 3-D chess" Trump play that was going to result in a permanent RIF of these furloughed federal works. It was to occur on day 31 of the shutdown.

No matter how many times it was pointed out that this bit of right-wing zeal and propaganda was false, they persisted.

So what happened? I so do want to hear the spin on why Trump didn't allow for the automatic RIF that was sure to happen.

I've worked in both NY and CA. I had to fill out E-verify forms in NY but, when I worked in CA, the E-verify form was never used. I'm now retired and wonder if there have been any changes since then. Doesn't appear to be. If anything, seems to be worse.
