On the wall, congress reflects the will of the American people. Both do not want trump's wall.

And yet, the wall that Bill Clinton (You know, Hillary's husband. The same Hillary you voted for in 2016) had a wall built on the San Diego/Tijuana border. That wall has drastically cut down on illegal crossings and crime. Yet, you keep whining about how walls are "mid-evil[sic]".
Go tell that to wealthy people who have walls around their estates. Heck, go tell people who have fences around their yards.

Do you support no walls anywhere ... existing walls ... only urban walls ... addition of walls in key sectors ... walls everywhere except where topography permits no building or migrant thru-flows ... the original solid 2,000 wall version (this appears to be dead).
It is Trump who started off selling The Wall with still no clarification even today as to proposed footage. (CBP has listed some problematic points but I don't think anyone believes Trump intends to stop there.)
That there's all the crosstalk on this thread is symptomatic of the problem: Plan - Propose - Debate - then Build, is not what is happening. Frankly, if Trump hadn't made this such an explosive issue he could still be adding new footage from border security funds. He hasn't even spent the current funds.

The Fence Act of 2006, as amended calls for consultations with: local officials, property owners, and Indian tribes. The dictatorial aspect of the unamended act did not go down well on the Border. Again, there needs to be discussion and compromise among competing variables.
EDITED TO ADD: I won't take the time to find the link, but there was a CBP press conference within the last few weeks where, when pressed, they refused to provide a total footage number that would be idea for their purposes (which per the statutory authority is not determinative). The official said they are deferring to the White House.

How many times does it have to be repeated that in order for the wall to be funded he needed 60 votes (some would have to be Democrats) and not all Republicans support him either and that he didn't have a filibuster proof majority before you and yours stop repeating this nonsense?

Here's my actual recent pawn shop experience. I went into one on about December 27th, and this ticked off lady was dragging a brand new tricycle into the pawn shop and yes, she did literally come walking in from the Projects across the street, Prairie to be specific.
What you think she was gonna do wit da money she got from the vehicle? Who did the vehicle belong to? Do you think she kiped it from her four year old?
I love how this thread has come to a grinding halt now that C-D Trump lovers have come to the dawning realization that Trump lost, got nothing out of an entire month of shutting down the government and got whipped by Nancy. LOL.

Obama thumbed his nose at the injunction then issued another 100,000 DAPA permits. Only when he was caught did he stop. You really hate the constitution, don't you, JAMS?
Trump had every right to shut down the government so where did he violate the Constitution anyway as the poster you are replying to is claiming? He is well aware that he has to get this bill passed through congress and his fighting to do so. In 3 weeks if congress still won't do it then he will exercise another Constitutional right. So again, where is he being a dictator as long as he is following the Constitution to do it?
