You boys so own this. Even Republicans in Senate would not pass wall bill.

Why do you keep repeating this when you've been told over and over that there had to be a certain number of Democrats on board for the GOP to get funding/legislation passed and there are enough Republicans who don't support Trump even if they were a majority? Then there is that little filibuster proof thingy. Now are you going to just repeat this again later ad nauseum?

Yes, it’s true. But is often done selectively.

Of course, now that we are making enemies of our neighbors at our southern border, this situation may change.
There is no set methodology to get a visa from certain countries. You need to go in for a interview at your nearest embassy and people are denied all the time, based on the feelings of the interviewers.

For example, one of the suspected 9/11 hijackers was denied entry in the USA based on a interview. And he had the funding and intelligence of Al Qaeda guiding him through the process.

Not even the military could step in and cover all of the administrative duties that are going to be affected. That's just TSA for starters. Soon old people won't get their SS checks, no one will get their tax returns, and all international shipping by sea could be paralyzed. I'd love to see how the public reacts then.

Been there done this and have the expensive "T" shirt from the Toronto Pearson Airport to prove it.

On the eve of a "previous budget sequestration" we were scheduled on an afternoon flight to Tampa and had the misfortune to be selected by TSA for secondary inspection where we joined a group of around thirty others, all who sat there waiting for over two hours with no one performing interviews on any of us until our flights had already left.

The agents simply geared their interviews to our boarding info and made certain we had all missed our flights. The reason being: All American airlines "partnered" with Canadian or Overseas airlines were then tasked with accommodating all those who missed their original flight out and it took a couple of days to clear the back-log created by the TSA folks protesting their overtime pay budget freeze while still being expected to process the same number of flights daily.

All of the American airlines were livid which was the end game for the TSA folks as they knew those airlines had more influence on Fed Gov. than foreign ones.

Apparently no one learned anything from those earlier experiences so..... here we go again.....Cheers y'all!

****A tip for the wise: 1/ if your flight into the U.S. is a later or last flight out for the day......make sure to have the airport hotel numbers on your speed-dial list as they will be inundated and you'll be challenged to find a room convenient to your hopefully arranged flight out the next day. 2/ If you've been directed to secondary and delayed until your flight has left to then be finally but belatedly approved for travel....be sure to get your old boarding pass "stamped" with that approval or you'll stand the very real chance of wash, rinse, repeat before you finally get approved again.

Democrats want a secure boarder. We don’t want to spend billions on a wall that will not work. It will take decades to gain eminent domain. Decades to build. Certain terrain in the boarder prevents this from being dine. From the flow of he Rio Grande to mountainous areas.

The majority of illigals in the United States have overstayed their visas, they didn’t walk across the boarders.

This is infuriating that he is creating more risk because of his stupidity.

Once again the GOP can't pass a funding bill without a certain number of Democrats on board even if they have a majority. Some Republicans don't even back Trump. There was no filibuster proof congress either. So why do you and yours keeping repeating the lie that Trump could have gotten the funding all by himself in the past two years?

I have posted numerous links proving that the good walls do work including links from the Border Patrol and Homeland Security but you know better than them? Those who don't want a wall on their properties can just deal with the illegal trespassers, drug runners and criminals all by themselves then that will just funnel right through their properties. They'll be crying for a wall in no time.

Oh, for Christ's sake it won't take decades to build. It's only for 700 miles of wall along the most porous areas of the border which was already passed by congress back in 2006. Were you screaming about it back then? Thought not! Both Schumer and Obama signed that bill.

Oh stop with the visa over stayer deflections. That has nothing to do with building a wall to stop the border jumpers who are still coming here by the thousands every month!

WTH kind of risk are you speaking of? Why didn't you think it was stupid for a bi-partisan congress to pass this wall bill back in 2006? Huh???

yes please hold the millions taxpaying travelers hostage over the squabbling of govt employees. Maybe it will wake people up to the fact that the fedguv shouldnt be meddling in the private affairs of citizens who are trying to go on vacations, visit relatives, attend business meetings, etc.
Giving politicians and their bureaucrats the keys to travel was never a good idea, just witness the threat in the quote above if you need further proof.
